I began my career with Cabarrus County Schools in 2006 as a math teacher at Concord Middle School. I later served as a teacher at Mount Pleasant Middle School before moving to Central Cabarrus High School in 2012 as an instructional technology facilitator. In 2017, I joined the administrative team at C.C. Griffin STEM Middle School as an assistant principal, and in 2019, I continued serving in that role at Central Cabarrus High School. In January 2023, I was named principal of Cabarrus Virtual Academy. Prior to joining Harris Road Middle School, I served as principal of Cabarrus Health Sciences Institute.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, my master’s degree from East Carolina University, and a certificate in School Leadership and Administration from Appalachian State University.

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for curriculum and instruction, as well as technology integration. I am excited to serve the Harris Road Middle School community and look forward to working with our students, families, and staff.
