Hello! I am excited to be starting my fourth year at Harris Road Middle School. I will be teaching 8th grade Social Studies on the Allegiance Team.
I attended Lenoir-Rhyne University for my undergrad in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Social Studies and ELA. Go Bears! In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with my friends & family, working out, watching sports (especially my favorite teams: the New England Patriots, Atlanta Braves, Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears, and the Clemson Tigers) and watching Harry Potter and all things Disney. I am a fur mom to two sweet doggos! Ripley is a three year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi and River is a three year old German Shorthaired Pointer.
The class canvas is updated daily, and contains all the work for this class. Please refer to the weekly schedule for all assignments and the day to day activites in class.
I look forward to getting to know all of my students and their families. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Email is the best way to get in touch with me. Please allow 24 hours for me to respond to your email as long as it is sent during the business week. I plan on posting weekly updates there each week. I also use the Remind app to send out updates and reminders to both students and parents.
